I like mine.

Are those dealer installed? If so, did they come with the car or was it an afterthought install? They look fantastic IMO.

No. It is fun to watch mud flying from my tire to a car behind me. :D

I would like to have a mud thrower available when I'm crossing over railroad tracks..slowly..and then the moron in the back feels like he needs to go faster over them and then he goes around me in anger..know what Im talking about?

I know lots of people have negative opinions to mud flaps on here, but I am really pleased and always have them on my Golfs. Living in a rural area and travelling on very muddy lanes they DO prevent a significant amount of mud up the side of the car. The mud flaps do collect mud, but I guess that is partly the idea. It is easy to brush wash or grab some of the collected mud off. It also deflects grit away from the paint work in my opinion. However, I accept others have there own opinions and will slate the idea of mudflaps.<br/>

Expressing an opinion is one thing, this however is rude.
Come on, the 2nd pic at least is funny. Mud flaps are rude to the eyes. :p

Imagine mud flaps on a Porsche, Lamborghini, Ferrari or an Aston-Martin.

btw, these are ok:
